The Perry Education Foundation is pleased to announce the award of two grants totalling $22,630.00. 

The first award issued in this round ($20,000.00) will enable the PCS Drama Club to bring the professional production team at Shake on the Lake together with students to provide new unique instructional experiences and productions.

The club seeks to increase the number of students participating in the performing arts and expand performance opportunities. 

The second award issued in this round ($2,630.00) will support students conducting science work through the Silver Lake Monitoring project. 

The Silver Lake Monitoring Project enables students to learn and experience the application of real science through surveying the physical and biological conditions within Silver Lake to monitor its ecological health.

The project's current goals include sampling fish populations to determine age classes of fish species and sediment core extraction and sampling to examine legacy phosphorus for dredging implications.
