Latest Educational Grant Projects Announced

The Perry Education Foundation is pleased to announce grant awards totalling $106,525.

The awardees are:

Arts for Learning; Grant Award: $56,265. The Foundation continues its support of innovative educational projects by approving a grant request from the Junior/Senior High School for its Arts for Learning Program. The Directors approved $56,265 to be distributed over a five-year period to provide students and teachers with opportunities to work directly with visual and performing arts professionals. The resulting work will bring curricula to life in different ways, delivering lasting impact on teaching and learning. Proposed by Rebecca Belkota.



UPK/K Networking Proposal; Grant Award: $50,000. This project will expand professional learning opportunities for primary level educators at PCS and in the region over a five-year period. The team will develop engaging curricula, and resources to support the teachers of the earliest learners in the district. Perry will be a model for early education, and interventions and provide a much-needed service to professionals. Proposed by the the Universal Prekindergarten Team of Katherine Luczak, Sara Eberstein, and Taylor Rechberger.
