On January 25th, the Perry Central School District and the School Board were recognized at the 2020 Genesee Valley School Board Associaiton (GVSBA) Legislative Day with an award for Excellence in Student Services. School Board members Chip Matthew, Deborah Uveino and Sue Beck accepted the award, as well as a proclamation from State Senator Pat Gallivan for The Habitat for Innovation in Education.
Superintendent of Schools Daryl McLaughlin cited the efforts of PCS students, instructors, and community support as factors resulting in such recognition. The Foundation thanks the Perry Herald for the publication of the news.
