Congratulations to the Perry Central School District Music Department!

The Foundation for Perry's Educational Future, Inc. awarded two (2) grants at its September 29, 2020 Board meeting:

- Sound Village ($45,000): This project will integrate audio and visual recording and mixing technologies in rehearsal and practice rooms to revolutionize in-person and remote instruction for students in the performing arts.

- Perry Ukulele Program ($2,594.86): Students in Grade 4 will begin learning how to play ukulele in general music.

The Directors were impressed with the comprehensive grant proposals and their impact across content areas.

Dillon Hirsch (Senior High School Instrumental Music Teacher), Erin Alexander (Junior/Senior High School Vocal Music Teacher), Giancarlo Levano (Grades 5 - 8 Instrumental Music Teacher) and Cathie Wheeler (Elementary Music Teacher) take a bow!
