    This new specialized environment at PCS is designed to facilitate delivery of cutting-edge learning opportunities across multiple disciplines and study areas.

    We would like to applaud the September 2019 selection of PCS Geometry teacher Steve O'Dea as a New York State Master Teacher. The program highlights oustanding STEM Teacher-Leaders who, among other criteria and characteristics, are known for: 

    • providing innovative STEM education to students
    • a strong commitment to professional growth
    • sharing their successful practices with colleagues in their districts, and beyond

    The announcement press release is available online. With the addition of the latest group of teachers to be recognized, ranks of the network of NYS Master Teachers number more than 1200 statewide.

    The next round of applications is now open and the application deadline is February 22, 2020.

    The Foundation for Perry's Educational Future congratulates Mason Bush, the 2019 recipient of a two-year college or trade school award offered through the foundation.

    Thanks to the generosity of the donor who established these scholarships, this year's strongest applicant will receive $5,000.00.

    Congratulations Mason, and the entire PCS Class of 2019!

    The Foundation for Perry's Educational Future congratulates Perry on the honor of being named to the 2019 list of Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation. 

    The NAMM Foundation's award program award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.

    Just 623 school districts were named to the list in 2019.

    Teachers Mark Mancari and Todd Shuskey truly are redefining what high school students are learning in technology and science classes at PCS in the Precision Agriculture and Water Quality Programs. The Foundation for Perry's Educational Future is pleased to support this innovative work with the donation of a Matrice 600 Pro Drone, MicaSense RedEdge professional multispectral camera kit, and associated equipment.

    Visitors can now follow news from the foundation online, subscribe to receive updates from the foundation via email and make donations online. 

    Information about grants, scholarships and other opportunities made possible through the foundation will be provided through the website.
